Isn't that just the prettiest award ever? I feel extra special today, because both The Gal Herself and Paula nominated me for this award. So, here we go (you know you want to hear more trivia about moi!)
First, the rules:
THE SHINE ON AWARD
Here are the rules of the award:
1. Visit and thank the blogger who nominated you.
2. Acknowledge that blogger on your blog, and link back.
3. Share seven random, interesting things about yourself.
4. Nominate up to 15 bloggers for the Shine On Award, provide a link to their blogs in your post, and notify them on their blogs.
Second, the seven random, interesting things:
I'm much more of a morning person than I am a late night person. I like getting up early, grabbing a cup of coffee, and starting work. Now that I work at home, this is perfect! But, I want to be done early too, so I have to really work to stay on task until 5.
I spent many years living without television. About 7 to be exact. We had movies, and taped (remember those) episodes of Star Trek, but no broadcast or cable television. Why? Montana on principal (I was kind of granola back then), and in Alaska we had no cable (too far outside of town), no broadcast (mountains) and no satellite (some deal with the horizon, us being so far north). I moved away from Alaska and you will have to pry my television out of my cold, dead hands!
I have severe iron deficiency anemia. I recently had an iron infusion, and now that it's been almost a month ago, wow, can I feel the difference!! I didn't realize how bad I felt for so long until I started feeling good!! I feel like I could run a marathon, if I weren't so darn lazy :)
I have to sleep with a pillow between my knees. It bugs the hell out of me to have my knees touching.
I could watch The Fifth Element (a movie with Bruce Willis and Milla Jovovitch) over and over. When Milla says "Leelu-Dallas-Multipass" I crack up. Every. Time. I am goofy that way. Here it is for YOUR viewing pleasure...
I have a stuffed monkey (the Evil Monkey from Family Guy who lives in Chris' closet) on the shelf above the television.
I am cold all the time (although not so much now that I have normal blood). My hands especially. I've started wearing fingerless gloves in the morning until things warm up around here. I also wear a grey hoodie. Hubby told me yesterday that I looked like Rocky Balboa, which I replied to with boxing moves, which then sent him into laughing his head off.
There you go. I'm not going to nominate anybody, because damn, I don't have many readers and the ones I do have, have already got this award.
So there you go!
