Shopping at our local hispanic market--El Mezquite Market in Rio Rancho. Their carniceria (butcher shop) has an amazing selection of meats. Joe can find all his puerto rican spices and sauces here. They carry banana leaves (important for puerco pibil), empanada wrappers and all sorts of other goodies.
I saw this on the shelf, and had to have it. Who knew there was such a soap as "Donkey's Milk"?
The prices at El Mezquite are jaw-droppingly low. Especially on the meats and all the spices. Have you checked out YOUR local hispanic market lately? You should!
