Interesting how this ties in with another of my March Madness posts. My biggest regret is leaving my daughter when I did. I thought I was doing the right thing for her, but ultimately, I hurt her terribly. I only hope that she finds it in her heart to forgive me someday, as we move forward with our new relationship. I wish I had done things differently. But it is what it is, and I am happy that she had the courage to approach me. She's amazing.
It sounds like you have made a connection with your daughter! I am happy for you and I am happy for her. Now don't look back. As Maya Angelou said, and I quoted in my post today, "When you know better, you do better" Hold on to the memories you are creating TODAY!
