1) It's a brand new year! Do you have any resolutions for 2013?
A plan, but not so much "resolutions". I know, it's semantics, but I always fail at resolutions. Anyhow, eat more vegetables, smoke less, and move my body for 15 minutes a day. That's it.

A vacation.

I never could picture myself by any other name other than my own.
4) Actor Billy Bob Thornton has dismissed antiques, saying, "I'm creeped out by old stuff." Do you ever shop at estate sales, yard sales or second-hand stores? Or do you want everything brand new?

I love certain old things, but hate yard sales and second hand stores, so I usually buy new.

We always took ours down on Epiphany (January 6), so I don't really mind them still being up.
6) Do you like the picture on your photo ID?

Not a big fan of bugs, especially spiders. And jellyfish scare the hell out of me.

Budget Travel and Travel and Leisure--hubby packed all the editions I missed while I was in Dallas, so I caught up on them yesterday.
For a nurse, my handwriting is actually pretty legible, LOL! It's not fancy, but it's legible and quick. On the other hand, my staff laugh at my "work" signature, which they say looks nothing like my name. If you had to sign your name as many times a day as I do, your signature would be pretty off too!.

Why is it those in the medical profession tend to have sloppy handwriting? I wonder what the connection is.
ReplyDeleteI got your comment on my blog but deleted it because I didn't want your email just sitting out there for all to see. I'll shoot you an email, though.
I have to practice my handwriting, to make sure it's clear for students to read. They cannot read (or write) cursive, actually, they aren't even taught cursive anymore.
ReplyDeleteMy work signature was awful an when I have to sign now I try to slow down so folks know who it is.
