So I've decided to put together a plan for the New Year. I hate the word "resolution", so I'm going with "plan". Words matter.
1. Exercise at least 15 minutes per day. Every day.
2. Eat at least two servings of vegetables more than the usual every day. I'm not a big fruit fan, so I'm going to start exploring veggies.
3. Smoke no more than 5 cigarettes a day (I have to start somewhere!).
I'm using the "don't break the chain method", summarized here on Lifehacker. I've never been successful with the whole "change my life" thing, not really. So, I've got a big incentive to make this work.
Wish me luck!
That's a great idea!
ReplyDeletePerfectly doable!! I'm with you on #1 and #2. I grew up in a family where literally every adult smoked, so I developed a strong negative response to cigarettes, so #3 isn't a thing for me, but I wish you strength and fortitude in your efforts!!
